The Plane Tree is now
under new management and offers simple
accommodation close to the heart of
Dalyan in a pretty and secluded area. It
is named after the lovely trees that
offer welcome shade in this area of
Turkey. The accommodation is just as
welcoming, particularly the large
swimming pool and poolside bar. A short
walk will bring you to the central
square where there is an abundance of
shops and waterside restaurants. Water
taxis run regularly to the beach down
the river, through the reed beds and
past intriguing ancient rock tombs. Half
board available at a supplement.

apartments have a separate bedroom
with twin beds or a double bed, a
living area with sofa beds more
suitable for chidlren and a small
kitchenette containing a fridge, and 2
electric rings suitable for preparing
light meals and snacks. There is also
