Selimiye Weather - Hot sunny weather on the Marmaris Peninsula The holiday season in Selimiye runs from April to October, with plenty of hot weather and guaranteed sunshine throughout. Temperatures hover around 25C in June, with 13 hours of sunshine, and the humidity starts to rise during this time. The water temperature remains around 23C in early summer, meaning swimming is possible, and the night-time temperature reaches a pleasant 18C. By July and August, the daytime temperature rises to 28C, sometimes reaching above 30C, with Selimiye basking in 14 hours of sunshine each day. Humidity levels are at their highest, and rainfall is virtually non-existent, with just the occasional shower possible. The waters of the Mediterranean remain warm throughout the summer at Selimiye, reaching temperatures of 26C, and offer the chance for swimming, water sports and boat rides along the coast.
