Gokova’s holiday season lasts from June to September, with July and August being the hottest summer months as the temperature rises to an average of 33C. With 14 hours of sunshine each day throughout July, and 13 hours per day in June and August, getting a gorgeous tan is virtually guaranteed. But if the prospect of constant baking heat feels a little too much for you, you could always wait until September to pack your suitcases and fly out as the temperature then dips a little to a more comfortable 30C – ideal weather for visiting nearby ancient ruins.
